THURSDAY PM: Heat indices will max out between 100-105 in the northern half of the area. Our FL/GA border counties are under a heat advisory until 7pm this evening as they can see heat indices between 105-110. Scattered showers and storms develop south this afternoon. A few may be strong with gusty winds and heavy downpours. A few showers may lift north to highway 82 this evening.
TOMMOROW: More seasonable heat with a few showers and storms by the afternoon.
WEEKEND-EARLY WEEK: An upper level disturbance dips into the southeast, providing much wetter and cooler conditions. A Marginal Risk of Flash Flooding is likely as 1″-3″ of rain is expected. Temperatures will only be in the 80s in the afternoon and heat indices in the more bearable 90s.
MID WEEK: Rain chances gradually ease and temperatures return into the lower 90s.
