Description
CRISP COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – Heavy rainfall Wednesday night led to at least four accidents near mile marker 93 on Interstate 75, according to the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).
In a post shared on the CCSO’s official Facebook page, authorities reported that the third lane of the interstate was intermittently submerged due to intense rain, contributing to hazardous driving conditions.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to assist motorists and clear the roadway. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
All accidents have since been cleared, and traffic is now flowing normally through the area. The CCSO reminds drivers to exercise caution and reduce speed during severe weather.
