SYLVESTER, Ga. (WALB) - A lane of GA 313 is now reopened several hours after the Sylvester Fire Department (SFD) responded to a fire in the back of a shredder truck.
The incident happened on GA 313 near Bryant Drive on Thursday, June 12, the fire department said.
According to the SFD, the fire was in the back of the truck, where a piece of metal got mixed with the paper that was shredded inside.
The paper was dumped out, and the fire was put out.
