Description

MONDAY PM: A mix of clouds and sun will stick around this afternoon. Rain chances will remain lower today but some may see a stray shower/storm. Some storms can be strong to severe. Best chances of storms is farther north as a Marginal risk for severe weather is possible for northern Quitman, Stewart, Webster, Sumter and Dooly Co. Temperatures will near the low 90s with feels-like temperatures near the triple digits due to high humidity today.

TUESDAY: Morning showers and storms are possible towards the north as a cold front gradually approaches. Showers and storms associated with this front will eventually make their way farther south into the after noon hours.

WEDNESDAY: A mid-week cool down begins with morning lows in the 60s. Drier air will overtake the day, making way for more sunshine. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

THURSDAY: Rain chances begin to increase again in the afternoon. Some afternoon storms can be strong with the main risk being gusty winds.

FRIDAY: Rain chances drop some but temperatures ramp back up to the 90s.

WEEKEND: Hot and sunny with heat indices in the triple digits. Isolated showers and storms can cool off some.
