ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — Residents across Albany are reporting flooding in multiple areas, sharing photos and video of water covering streets and pooling in parking lots.

Video from Janay Mansfield shows flooding on Westover Boulevard near Sam’s Club. Another video from Eve Thomas shows water across Baldwin Drive.

Additional footage from BJean Wombles shows flooding near the intersection of Gillionville Road and Maryland Drive.

A photo from Robert Wilson shows flooding around the Lowe’s area, where he said he saw several vehicles with water reaching over the hoods.

And video from John Clay shows flooding in his backyard as he was preparing to go outside.

WALB is working to learn whether any roads are closed and whether city officials have issued any alerts. Drivers are urged to slow down and avoid driving into water-covered roadways.
