ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Following a mostly sunny Thursday, overnight clouds return for a cloudy start Friday. Clearing gives way to afternoon sunshine and toasty highs low-mid 90s. Warm moist air flows in again early Saturday then sunshine and warm 90s take over for a beautiful afternoon.

While SGA continues unseasonably warm and mostly dry, isolated showers may creep into our northern counties late Saturday into Sunday. Not a wash-out nor widespread rain but enough to briefly bring some wet conditions for a few.

Early week high pressure still dominates which keeps rain away until a cold front arrives with scattered showers and storms on Wednesday. Ahead of the unsettled weather highs peak in the mid 90s while feeling more like upper 90s around 100°. As the rain moves out, cooler air filters in dropping temperatures about 10° the end of the week. High fall from the 90s into the 80s while lows return to the 60s.
