Description
VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) - The damage and loss of power because of Hurricane Helene has taken a toll on our entire region, not just families and businesses, but also non-profits who mobilize at the most difficult times to help those in need.
WALB’s Brittanye Blake spoke to a Salvation Army representative about how they have just been able to get fully operational in places like Lowndes County to help those most in need.
The Salvation Army will host dinners throughout South Georgia while communities recover. You can find out more information here.
