SUMTER COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — Ignite College and Career Academy is providing students in agriculture with a more in-depth education through its new agriculture and cannery facilities.

The school held a special look inside the new area Friday, Aug. 14.

The new space is designed to become a hands-on learning environment for students to experience agriculture and food production outside of the classroom.

This year, the program has farm animals for students to take care of to gain real experience.
