JONES COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) — A man in Jones County was arrested and charged with a slew of car break-ins.

According to the Jones County Sheriff's Office (JCSO), an investigation began after a gun was reported stolen on Aug. 20 in Jones County.

Investigators later connected Lucas Rebolledo of Florida to a group involved in car break-ins across multiple counties, and eventually linked him to a car in Jones County at the time of the thefts.

JCSO said one of Rebolledo's co-defendants confirmed his involvement with the break-ins.

Rebolledo is charged with eight counts of entering auto.
