HAHIRA, Ga. (WALB) – A Hahira family has lost everything after their home was destroyed by a lightning strike and resulting fire on Friday, June 27, 2025.

Organizer Tiffany Salomon has launched a GoFundMe campaign to support the family as they work to recover from the devastating loss. The fundraiser has a goal of $50,000 to help the family rebuild their lives.

“We’ve set a fundraising goal of $50,000 to help us get through this crisis and begin to rebuild our lives with dignity and safety. Any contribution — no matter the amount — makes a difference. Gift cards and kind messages have also meant the world to us, and we are so grateful for your compassion and support,” the Lewis family shared.
