TIFTON, Ga. (WALB) - South Georgia Banking company is warning their customers of a fraud alert.
“We have received reports of text fraud and phone calls that appear to be from South Georgia Banking Company but are not. As always, do not click on any links in text messages or provide personal information over the phone or in text messages. South Georgia Banking Company will not ask for this information.”
If you receive the alert, you are asked to not click on the link.
