ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Albany will host a free clothing and toy swap for local children.

This event aims to give back to local families and reduce the waste of lightly used items. Organizers encourage participants to donate gently used children’s clothes and toys during scheduled drop-off times, in exchange for tokens that can be used on swap day.

“This event is a simple yet meaningful way to bless our community, care for creation, and spread the joy of Christmas in a tangible way.”

Drop off times are:

  • Dec. 12 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Dec. 13 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The event will be held on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. All items on Dec. 14, will be free.
