MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WKRC) - A man allegedly attacked a woman with a rock and screwdriver before sexually assaulting her in broad daylight, then attacked a hotel employee before being arrested.

According to arrest documents obtained by CBS, the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office was notified of a sexual assault by a victim who claimed that she was exiting her car in a parking on Thursday lot when a man, later identified as 41-year-old Daysnel Hernandez, approached her from behind and struck her in the head with a rock. Hernandez then reportedly covered her hand with his mouth and held a screwdriver to her neck.

Hernandez allegedly dragged the victim to a secluded area, punched her multiple times, and forced her to perform sexual acts on him and sexually assaulted her while threatening her with the screwdriver. The arrest document reportedly said the victim was "in fear for her life."

Hernandez left the victim on the ground with injuries across her body, running back into the parking lot, per the outlet.

While the sheriff's office was still searching for Hernandez, he was arrested by a different department after he attacked a hotel employee at a nearby town the day after his initial assault, per authorities.

Hernandez allegedly physically assaulted a woman who worked at Doral Inn & Suites, but no other information was released.

The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office arrested Hernandez on Saturday morning and charged him with armed burglary, attempted second-degree murder, armed kidnapping, sexual battery with a deadly weapon, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
