DOUGHERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — A man was arrested in connection with two separate incidents in which Flock cameras reportedly caught on fire, the Dougherty County Police Department said Wednesday, July 29.

Police said the damaged Flock cameras were located at 2416 Radium Springs Road and at the intersection of Williamsburg Drive and Radium Springs Road. They were damaged on Tuesday, July 21, according to the police department.

Officials reportedly charged Caleb Horne, 22, with the following:

• Criminal damage to property in the second degree (2 counts)
• Discharging a firearm within 50 yards of a roadway (1 count)

Horne, who is from Baconton, is being held at the Mitchell County Jail on unrelated criminal property damage charges, according to Dougherty County police.

According to Albany Police, the cameras were “damaged or destroyed due to theft, vandalism and gunfire.”

Officials said the investigation remains ongoing and more charges may be filed.
