WORTH COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - WALB is seeking more information about a man who was arrested and booked into the Worth County Jail on murder and other charges on Christmas Eve.

William Yerby is charged with murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of certain crimes, according to the Worth County Sheriff’s Office website.

Authorities have not confirmed any information about an alleged victim. WALB contacted the Worth County coroner’s office to verify a name provided to the station by possible family members. We are waiting to hear back.
