ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - One person was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after an ATV crashed into a passing vehicle on Christmas Day in Albany.
About 12:55 p.m. Wednesday, Dougherty County police responded to the intersection of Byron Plantation and Coachlight Court.
Police said an ATV was traveling south on Byron Plantation when a Buick Enclave attempted to pass. As the Buick was passing, the ATV driver attempted a left turn and the two vehicles collided.
The ATV driver was taken to a hospital for treatment and was cited for making an improper left turn, police said. The crash remains under investigation.
