WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) — A Sandersville man was arrested for allegedly trafficking drugs on Thursday, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office (WCSO).
WCSO, along with the Georgia Department of Community Supervision and the Middle Georgia Gang Task Force, conducted a search on Clement Street in Sandersville, according to a release.
During the search, deputies discovered and seized one pound of meth, a "felony amount" of marijuana, an "undisclosed" amount of U.S. currency, scales and a firearm.

Authorities arrested 37-year-old Jerroid Russell and charged him with the following:
- Trafficking in methamphetamine
- Possession with intent to distribute marijuana
- Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes
- Possession of drug-related objects
