ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — A man was arrested in an Aug. 16 shooting investigation in Albany, according to the Albany Police Department (APD).
APD announced the arrest of Jarius Crapps, 20, on Thursday, Aug. 20.

Crapps was reportedly in the vehicle that took a victim of the shooting to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital on Aug. 16.
The shooting was in the 400 block of Holloway Avenue, police said.
Now, Crapps faces the following charges, APD said:
- Aggravated assault with a firearm (6 counts)
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes
APD said investigators are actively trying to identify the other people who were in the vehicle with Crapps that night.
