JONES COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) — A man was arrested in Wilkinson County for a Jones County shooting that left one person injured.
According to the Jones County Sheriff's Office, on Thursday, deputies responded to reports of a person shot on Morris Stevens Road.
Upon arrival, authorities learned that the suspect, Kenneth Kitchens Jr., had fled the scene and was heading toward Wilkson County. The victim was taken to Atrium Health Navicent and is listed in stable condition.

JCSO, along with Wilkinson County deputies and Gordon Police, were able to locate and arrest Kitchens. He was charged with one count of aggravated assault and is being held at the Jones County Jail.
