LOS ANGELES, Calif (FOX26) — A man is being charged with attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization.
According to authorities, 28-year-old Mark Lorenzo Villanueva is being charged with allegedly sending money to ISIS.
Villanueva was allegedly communicating with two people who were self-proclaimed members of ISIS.

During the communication, he expressed interest in joining the cause and sending money for the cause.
Villanueva sent 12 payments totaling $1,165 during 5 months to the 2 individuals.
The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force arrested Villanueva and allegedly found a bomb in his room.
If he is found guilty, he could face a sentence of 20 years in federal prison.
