Description

LEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — A man will be sentenced for rape in Lee County next month after a jury recently found him guilty.

The Southwestern Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office posted on Facebook a jury convicted Antavious Coe of rape on Tuesday, July 7.

The district attorney’s office said Coe will be sentenced in August 2026.

The district attorney’s office thanked the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and Lighthouse for their work on the case.

Assistant District Attorney Trevor Vanzant prosecuted the case with help from DA Investigator Miles O’Quinn, Victim Advocate Leeann Austin and DA Legal Secretary Catherine Williams, the Southwestern Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office said.
