AXSON, Ga. (WALB) — A 20-year-old man died after falling from the rear bumper of a moving vehicle Friday afternoon, June 5th, in Atkinson County.
James Hunter Taylor fell off the rear bumper of a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban at the intersection of Guthrie Heights Road and Honeysuckle Lane near the city of Axson, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Two other people were standing on the bumper with Taylor at the time of the accident, authorities said. A driver and two other passengers were inside the vehicle.
Taylor was transported to Coffee Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
No charges were filed in the incident.
