ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — An incident report revealed new details about a man who was found dead on Tuesday, July 28, behind an Albany car wash.

According to the Albany Police Department’s (APD) report, the unidentified man was found naked and laying down with his back on the floor. Police said the man had objects wrapped around his neck, arm and genitals.

The object found wrapped around the man’s neck was reportedly black and “fur-like,” while the object found around the man’s arm was yellow.

There were no visible injuries or obvious signs of trauma on the body, according to police. Officials said no signs of foul play were found during their initial examination.

The body was transported for further examination and investigation, APD said. According to Dougherty County Coroner Michael Fowler, the time of death was approximately 12:55 p.m.
