DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - A Dothan accident sent a railroad worker to the hospital Friday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses said a pickup pulling a lawn equipment trailer collided with the train’s rear as it was about to clear a North Range Street crossing.
The injured railroad worker was riding the steps on the rear of the last railroad transport vehicle.
Dothan Assistant Fire Chief Chris Etheredge said the accident is under investigation, describing the injuries to the worker as serious and possibly critical.
