Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A man was struck by a vehicle in the evening of Monday, Oct. 20 on South Slappey Boulevard, Albany Police (APD) confirmed.
The condition of the pedestrian is unknown. APD said he was taken to the hospital for his injuries. Dougherty County Coroner Michael Fowler confirmed that he was not called out to the scene.
According to APD, a black Nissan was traveling southbound when it hit the man in the 700 block of South Slappey. APD said the man was not using the pedestrian walk while crossing the street.
