Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital is celebrating 30 years as a Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals partner hospital and has set a $30,000 fundraising goal for its annual May is for Miracles campaign.

CMN donations support Phoebe’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatrics department, helping fund equipment, technology and family-centered care spaces.
“30 years as a CMN partner hospital is a huge milestone,” said Jailyn Baggett, Phoebe Foundation CMN Coordinator.
CMN-funded resources highlighted by the Phoebe Foundation include the hospital’s new NICU in the Trauma & Critical Care Tower and a specialized NICU ambulance serving more than 20 surrounding counties. Support also helps fund pediatric therapy and audiology equipment through Phoebe Northwest.

During May is for Miracles, hospital departments raise money by selling CMN balloons and other campaign items. All funds raised are restricted for Phoebe’s NICU and Pediatrics units, according to the Phoebe Foundation.
