ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — Albany police are investigating a shooting that happened just before midnight in West Albany.

Officers responded to a call in the 1700 block of West Broad Avenue, just off Magnolia Street. Authorities have not released details about what led up to the incident, and information remains limited at this time.

Police have not confirmed whether anyone was injured or if any suspect(s) are being sought.

The investigation is ongoing.
