VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) — The Valdosta Police Department (VPD) said Friday, Jan. 30, that they are looking for a man who is wanted for a sexual assault against two children.
The man is Dominique Antwand Sims, 37, according to a VPD press release. VPD said Sims was identified as the offender in this case on Friday. The investigation reportedly began Jan. 25.
Sims has following felony arrest warrants against him, VPD said:
- Two counts of child molestation
- Two counts of cruelty to children in the first degree
- Aggravated battery
- Aggravated sodomy
VPD said that Sims’ location is unknown. The department asked for the public’s assistance in finding him.

VPD said Sims is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He is said to have multiple tattoos across his chest and neck.
Anyone who sees Sims is advised to call 911 immediately, as VPD said he should be considered dangerous. Police said you should not try to apprehend Sims if you see him.
VPD said that this investigation remains ongoing, and that Sims will face additional charges.
