VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) - A woman was arrested Friday, Dec. 12 following a narcotics investigation in Valdosta, the Valdosta Police Department (VPD) said. Officials said approximately 61 grams of methamphetamine, pressed into 200 pills; 780 grams of marijuana; a firearm; and tools that indicated drug sales were all seized.

Erin Peeler, 23, was arrested after VPD Narcotics Unit detectives reportedly conducted the investigation at an apartment in the 400 block of West Mary Street. VPD said that Peeler was in the apartment when detectives seized the drugs.
VPD said Peeler is charged with the following:
- Trafficking methamphetamine (felony)
- Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute (felony)
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (felony)
- Possession of drug-related objects (misdemeanor)
Officials said that more arrests are pending as this investigation remains active.
