Description
ALBANY, Ga. — Dougherty County residents in the Radium Springs area will have a chance to clean up their properties during a special community effort scheduled for Friday, March 28 through Sunday, March 30.
A large dumpster will be placed in the circle across from Radium Springs Park and will be available throughout the weekend for residents to dispose of yard debris.
The initiative is led by District 2 Commissioner Victor Edwards in partnership with the Radium Springs Neighborhood Watch Group and Dougherty County Solid Waste.
Residents are encouraged to bring items such as leaves, limbs, branches, and grass clippings. However, officials say household trash, construction debris, hazardous materials, tires, appliances, and other bulk waste items will not be accepted.

“This initiative is about helping residents keep their properties clean while improving the overall appearance of our community,” said Commissioner Edwards. “We appreciate our partners and encourage residents to participate.”
The dumpster will be available all day beginning Friday and will be removed after Sunday.
For more information, residents can contact Commissioner Edwards at (229) 603-0050 or Chris Harvey at (229) 809-6577.
