Description

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Starting this evening lasting into Sunday, most of the rain will impact the southern and eastern counties of the viewing area. Periods of drizzle and mist underneath overcast skies are likely tonight and tomorrow for Albany and other northern communities, keeping the cold and soggy conditions in place for another day. Fog is likely, especially for the northern counties early Sunday morning.

Late Sunday night lasting into early Monday morning, scattered light showers ahead of a cold front will work through SGA, from west to east. Little meaningful rainfall is expected from this event Sunday night. Following the cold front, skies will clear, setting up dry conditions for the most of the work week. Cold temperatures likely to begin the week, overnight lows drop to near freezing Monday and Tuesday night. Temperatures warm up and become more mild by the end of the week.
