Description
THURSDAY PM: Humidity climbs and clouds stick around for much of us this afternoon. Highs will remain in the upper 80s with scattered thunderstorms later in the afternoon. No severe threat is expected, just heavy rain and possibly frequent lightning with a stronger thunderstorm.
FRIDAY: A few showers possible in the morning with overcast skies lingering. Scattered showers and storms for some in the afternoon. Highs will near 90.
SATURDAY: A drier spell enters and the heat begins to ramp up with isolated thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. Highs will reach the mid 90s. Heat indices will climb above the triple digit mark.
SUNDAY: Rain is more sparse with heat persisting. Highs will remain in the mid 90s with heat indices around 105 and higher in some spots.
MONDAY: The hottest day expected in the heat stretch. Highs in the mid 90s with heat indices 105 and above likely. Some will get to cool down slightly with some showers and storms in the afternoon.
MID-WEEK: Low to mid 90s will stick around but so will the rain chances.
