ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) —
TODAY: A mild start heats up to near 90 degrees midday and into the mid 90s this afternoon with heat indices hovering around 100. After a sunny start a few afternoon clouds develop.
WEEKEND: The 4th of July will be even hotter as high temperatures reach the upper 90s and heat index values soar towards 105. Rain chances return Sunday afternoon to the scattered side.
NEXT WEEK: Much more seasonable afternoons in the low 90s with scattered showers and storm in the afternoon and evening.
