COFFEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) warned residents Saturday, May 9, about a bouncy house rental scam. This comes after CCSO received numerous reports of people making digital payments for inflatable bouncy houses and water slides, officials said.
Deputies said the company involved is not a local business and is believed to be a scam.
The sheriff’s office is urging residents not to send payments through Cash App or any other electronic funds transfer service to reserve bouncy houses or slides.
The sheriff’s office shared the following photo along with their post.

For protection, officials recommend using local companies where you can speak directly with a representative and verify the business is legitimate and reputable before sending any money. Residents are also encouraged to share the alert to help prevent others from being scammed.
