Lauren Ann Lombardi filed a federal lawsuit on July 21.
She claims the demonstration squadron's performances in August 2023 and 2024 terrorized her dying cat, Layla, saying that the noise led to its death.
Lombardi says she criticized the Blue Angels team on their social media and called for an end to their demonstrations.
According to the lawsuit, she says the team blocked her. Because of this, she claims they violated her First Amendment right to criticize the government.
