CRISP COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is inviting the community to “paint the town blue” for the month of May.
Starting May 1, the sheriff’s office is encouraging the community to support law enforcement by:
- Tying blue ribbons
- Illuminating homes and/or businesses with blue lights
- Decorating with blue balloons
- Creating chalk art
- Showcasing blue-themed window displays
- Displaying signs of support
On May 8, residents are asked to wear blue for the Annual Law Enforcement Memorial, according to the sheriff’s office.
“Let’s show gratitude and solidarity to those who selflessly serve and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice‚” said the sheriff’s office.
