LEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — An altercation between at least two individuals inside a vehicle led to shots being fired Wednesday night near the Murphy USA parking lot on Ledo Road.

According to officials, the incident occurred around 9 p.m., and the vehicle fled the scene.

No injuries have been reported, and local hospitals have not received any gunshot-related patients. Authorities believe no one was harmed during the incident.

No arrests have been made at this time. Investigators say there is no ongoing threat to the community.

Law enforcement has not released further details as the investigation remains active.
