Description
FRIDAY PM: Perfect weather for June standards to start your weekend. This afternoon, temperatures will top off in the mid to upper 80s with plenty of sunshine go to around for all of us.
WEEKEND: You may still need a light jacket if you are up early! Pleasant start to the mornings with mid to upper 60s, some spots may still see low 60s. Afternoon temperatures will gradually get warmer by the day nearing the 90s but it will feel more like a dry heat than muggy. This will be a great time for any pool, beach, or cookout plans.
NEXT WEEK: As the high pressure that has been over us shifts eastward, we will have a more southerly wind that will inject more moisture into SWGA, slightly increasing our humidity and rain chances. Temperatures will gradually climb back to average, around the low 90s. Morning temps will be back in the low to mid 70s.
TROPICS: Ensemble runs hint to some tropical activity in the Caribbean/Southern Gulf late next week. This can possibly bring higher rain chances into the next 7-10 days but any potential impacts are highly uncertain this far out. We will continue to keep an eye on any changes over the weekend and into next week.
