ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Albany Utilities said Friday some of its customers may experience a temporary delay in receiving their bills.
The utilities provider experienced an issue with its billing system that caused the problem.
However, Albany Utilities said it wants customers to know that billing operations remain active.
“Our teams are working diligently to resolve the issue and resume normal billing schedules as quickly as possible,” stated a City of Albany news release.
The release continued, “Albany Utilities appreciates the community’s patience and understanding during this time.”
Albany Utilities said those with questions about bills can contact customer service at (229) 883-8330.
