TODAY: Warm and muggy as you walk out the door this morning, temperatures are mostly in the mid-upper 70s. By lunchtime, expect temperatures around 90°, highs will reach into the mid-upper 90s. Partly cloudy skies will bring a spotty rain chance to some (about 30%), like the days previous a good deal of us are expected to stay dry today.

SATURDAY: Morning temperatures start in the mid-upper 70s and highs reach into the mid-upper 90s. Partly sunny with spotty storm chances lingering. A couple storms may be strong bringing heavy rainfall and damaging winds up to 60mph. Best chances for strong storms lie east of I-75, but overall chances are quite slim.

SUNDAY: High temperatures drop some into the low 90s as cloud cover and rain chances increase. More numerous showers and storms are expected Sunday afternoon across South Georgia. Like Saturday, a few of these storms carry the potential to be briefly strong, bringing damaging winds up to 60 mph and heavy rainfall that could lead to flooding.

MONDAY - TUESDAY: Waves of widespread showers and storms roll through the region. Flooding is the main concern heading through the early week.

WEDNESDAY: Rain chances look to ease a little on your Hump Day, but still looking wet at times. Temperatures increase into the upper 80s. From Sunday - Wednesday night, South Georgia can expect a healthy 1-2″ of rainfall.

LATE NEXT WEEK: Drier weather looks to return with more sunshine and highs return back into the 90s.
