WORTH COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - A Sumner resident is celebrating after winning the $2 million top prize playing the Georgia Lottery’s Lucky 7 Tripler scratch-off game.

According to the Georgia Lottery, the winning ticket was purchased at Shiba Express, located at 2402 Georgia Highway 313 in Sylvester. The prize was officially claimed on Monday, August 25.

The Georgia Lottery reported that last week alone, players won a total of $38,356,535 across all scratch-off games statewide.
