LEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — A man wanted following a Lee County home invasion case was arrested Tuesday, May 12, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO).

LCSO said that Charles Bryant was arrested at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday at a home in Albany.

Bryant was wanted after a May 7 incident where law enforcement officials said that Bryant allegedly held a female victim against her will and threatened to “end her life” while armed with a firearm. LCSO said two children were in the home during the incident.

Authorities said on May 7 that the victim reported waking up and finding Bryant inside her home in the 100 block of Shumard Court.

Lee County officials said that Bryant was arrested Tuesday night by members of the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. LCSO said Bryant was taken to the Dougherty County Jail for processing, and he will later be taken to the Lee County Jail.

LCSO said that several agencies were involved with Bryant’s arrest, including:

• U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force
• Albany-Dougherty Special Investigations Unit
• Georgia State Patrol
• Georgia Department of Natural Resources
• Albany Police Department
• Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office
