ASHBURN, Ga. (WALB) – Ashburn police are searching for a suspect who opened fire on a moving vehicle Tuesday morning, unleashing 18 rounds at the intersection of Stevens Street and West Madison Avenue.
The shooting happened around 10:49 a.m. on Dec. 2. According to authorities, the suspect fired multiple shots at the vehicle before fleeing the area. Investigators say warrants have been obtained for the shooter, who remains at large.
Police are also working to identify additional individuals involved in the incident, and officials say more charges are expected as the investigation continues.
No information has been released yet on potential injuries or what may have led to the shooting.
