THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WALB) - Thomasville will host a bicentennial celebration to commemorate its 200th birthday on Saturday, Jan. 24.

The event intends to bring together generations to reflect on the city’s rich history. Live music, food trucks, organization booths, engaging children’s activities, and interactive photo opportunities will all be a part of the event.

The celebration will take place at the Ritz Amphitheatre. 131 General Lloyd J. Austin III Way, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Designed for all ages, the celebration is free, and organizers encourage everyone to attend.
