TIFTON, Ga. (WALB) - The Tiftarea Community Food Bank is collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items this week to support households across Tift County.

Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

  • Leroy Rogers Senior Center
    • 315 W. 2nd St. in Tifton
    • Monday through Friday
    • 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Chicken Salad Chick
    • 2202 US-41, Suite A, in Tifton
    • Monday through Saturday
    • 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Southeastern Credit Union
    • 2212 Tift Ave N. in Tifton
    • Monday through Friday
    • 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The requested items include, but are not limited to: breakfast bars, canned beans, canned meat, canned soup, canned vegetables, cereal, dry beans, jelly, mac and cheese, milk, noodles, peanut butter, potato flakes and rice.
