TIFTON, Ga. (WALB) - The Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the arrival of a new business.

In a Facebook post, the chamber of commerce announced that From the Fields Meat & Processing held an official ribbon cutting and grand opening on Tuesday, July 1.

“Thank you to everyone who came out to show support — we’re proud to welcome this new locally owned business to the Tift County community. From custom processing to quality meats, they’re bringing valuable services to our local farmers and families,” said the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce.

On the business’s Facebook, anyone in need of cattle, pigs, goats, or lamb processing is invited to reserve a processing date.

“Stop by our market — we’re open and stocked with local products such as jams, jellies, BBQ sauce, honey, pecans and more. We also have homegrown meats!"

From the Fields Meat & Processing is located at 147 Ridge Ave. S.
