TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A man is dead and police are investigating after a home burglary Saturday morning, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.

Officials said the incident happened around 2:30 a.m. near the 300 block of Meadowbrook Lane.

TPD is still conducting the investigation, so police have not released how the man was killed.

A spokesperson for the department confirmed the incident was isolated, with no threat to the public.
