WARREN, Mich. (TNND) — On his 100th day in office, President Trump is holding his largest public event since his inauguration, rallying supporters in Warren, Michigan, just outside Detroit.

As the president marked this key milestone, his supporters shared their thoughts on his performance and their hopes for the future.

Despite national polls indicating a decline in public approval of Trump's handling of key issues like the economy, attendees at the rally expressed satisfaction with his leadership.

One supporter described the past 100 days as "biblical," adding, "Things are happening. This is a president that’s getting it done."

Another attendee praised efforts to uncover corruption, saying, "I love that Elon Musk is finding all the corruption."

Reflecting on Trump's actions at the border, a supporter noted, "I think if you look at what he’s been able to do on the border where he hasn’t had any opposition, that’s indicative of how, where we’d be somewhere else."

When asked about future priorities, some supporters expressed a desire for the president to shift focus.

I’d say now that immigration and the border’s kind of you know, handled to an extent, I think we should shift our focus to the Ukraine-Russia war," one said.

Others called for tax reforms, urging Congress to act. "No taxes on tips, no taxes on overtime, no taxes on Social Security. I need Congress, get in there and get the job done. This is what we voted for this administration to do. Get the job done! We’re ready!"

While the event was not officially a campaign rally, Michigan remains a crucial battleground state. Its House and Senate seats will be significant in the upcoming midterm elections.

Michigan has been a pivotal state for Trump, where he held his final rallies in the 2016, 2020, and 2024 campaigns, narrowly winning the state in November, which was key to his White House victory.
