COFFEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Two people have been charged with multiple crimes, including drug trafficking, after an ongoing narcotics investigation, police say.

Officials say that on Dec. 30, the Douglas Coffee Drug Unit (DCDU) executed a search warrant at a home near Trojan Way. When agents arrived at the property, they were led on a brief vehicle pursuit that ended on Highway 441 North.

35-year-old Joel Dooley and 44-year-old Leondra Carmichael Dooley were transported to the Coffee County Jail. Agents with the DCDU, along with the Drug Interdiction and Criminal Enforcement (DICE), searched the residence.

According to law enforcement, approximately 12 ounces of cocaine, 12 pounds of marijuana, and 63 Oxycodone tablets were found, along with a number of firearms.

Leondra Carmichael Dooley has been charged with the following:

• Trafficking in cocaine
• Trafficking in marijuana
• Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
• Possession of a schedule II-controlled substance with intent to distribute

Joel Dooley has been charged with the following:

• Trafficking in cocaine
• Trafficking in marijuana
• Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
• Possession of a schedule II-controlled substance with intent to distribute
• Fleeing and attempting to elude law enforcement (misdemeanor)
