THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WALB) - The Thomasville Police Department is investigating two shootings reported within minutes of each other on the evening of Tuesday, March 31.
Police said officers were called around 5:45 p.m. March 31 to a report of shots fired in the 1400 block of Fletcher Street. When officers arrived, they found several people at the scene, but no injuries were reported.
Within minutes, police said they received another report of a shooting in the 500 block of North Stevens Street, where no victims were located.
While officers were still working the scenes, police said they were notified that an adult woman had arrived at Archbold Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The investigations remain open and active, police said. Authorities added that there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the public at this time.
